Began using them. And I must say they worked awesome. Until mid August when the receiver box went out. They hav a one year warranty. I called company they said to ship to them to have them checked. To ship them back with leter stating the problem and my info and a $25 money order. So I shipped them back to them a week later. Oh shipping cost me $34.Thats $79 I only paid $98 for system. So they received the system as per UPS tracking. Well a week later tried calling company for an update. Voice Mail is full. i thought ok. Tried again later and the machine came on stating they are closed a whole week in september for a jewish holiday and will reopen on september 13. Well i tried back september 13. Still voice mail full no messages accepted. So I'm still out of luck> So I don't know If I'll get my sytem back. I have to check to see if money order was cashed next. I would buy Pyle Pro Brand no more. I learned my lesson. Maybe someone has... This review is from: PYLE-PRO PDWM5000 - 4 Mic VHF Wireless Microphone System (Electronics) I was just looking for a quick solution for my DJ rig, this was definitley not the answer. I had a set of Zebra J16, not a big name but the quality sounded much more professional and cleaner than this. Very low powered and mics feel light and cheap. I would not recommend this for live applications. Edit: I was really frustrated with this mic system at first, turns out I had a bad coupler running from my mic processor to my mixer, changed the coupler.....viola! all better, volume is still a little lower than I like evan after tweaking the processor, comppressor and mixer but very nice for the price, changing my rating from a 3 to 5 star! They were perfect for the set up we had at our church.All 4 mics go in 1 slot in my mixer and I didn't lose any space I gained it. The sound will blow you out and the mics are individually adjustable on their transmitter or adjust them all at once on your mixer. The lights are color coded to make it easier to adjust them individually. I have all good things to say about them. I even have a suggestion that helps. If you buy rechargeable 9 volt batteries and a charger it will save you money in the end b/c you will re-use those batteries many times before they have to be replaced and the batteries hold up really well in these mics. I used them 2 hours with regular 9 volts and they held charge and didn't get weak. I highly recommend these to anyone and the sound quality is excellent. The mics I used before had to be turned up almost all the way on our mixer to get any sound and they sounded metallic but these are clear and only have to be turned up to about 2-3 on our... I did a bunch of research on the different interfaces and picked the "One" because of the reviews and the price. I'm certainly not disappointed. This thing works way better than I expected. It is sleek, low profile, simple to hook up and sounds great. I was kind of worried that I read USB connections had more issues with latency than Firewire. That is certainly not the case here. I can detect ZERO latency. I plugged my Bose computer speakers into the One's headphone jack and my guitar sounds great. And it works great with the Mac and Garageband. Anyway, I could ramble on but need to get back to practice. Excellent product. Thank you Apogee! I'm very demanding, have NO tolerance for BS and I do know what I'm talking about. I use Logic Pro 9 on a 13 inch MacBook Pro, and a Mac Pro tower. I already own an Apogee Duet and that is a fantastic product. The ONE is no exception. I am very impressed with the internal mic. I have been setting the ONE on my right leg while seated recording my acoustic guitars and it works great! I need to purchase a stand adaptor! I'm sure this will sound great on any acoustic instrument. I now keep my Duet connected to my desktop computer and this little ONE is in my laptop bag. It is a lot of fun and sounds like an Apogee. High quality. There is a bit of a noise floor with the internal mic, but it is within acceptable limits in my opinion. That is the price to pay for convenience I suppose. I have not tried this with an external mic yet, but I have used it with my electric bass and could not be... I have a recording studio as well. I downloaded Apogee's update for ONE and was up and running in less then 5 min. The internal "Tuned Aperture Microphone" sounds amazing as well. This will be so easy to capture ideas when on the go. I can see using this for podcasts and voice overs as well. This is the best 250.00 on pro audio gear that I have spent. I have owned Apogee's products Ensemble and Duet. I just love this ONE for me its perfect, I take my Mac Book Pro and One and I have a studio ready to go anywhere when I travel. You may need to play with the levels but this is by far the best audio interface out there in this price point. Thanks Apogee. I am very satisfied with the product, the company is another thing. I had some pre-sales questions, just 4. They were too busy to answer my questions, imagine that. Sure hope I never need any support. While it doesn't say anywhere, you do need to have an XLR cable for this. Wish they had a choice of colors for the foam, blue is not my favorite color, would have preferred black.
